This is an easy recipe that can be made with several variations to keep it interesting. It makes for a great breakfast or snack.
Ingredients:
1 cup desiccated coconut
1/2 cup shelled hemp seeds
1/2 cup flax meal
1/2 cup pumpkin seeds
1 cups walnuts, chopped
1/2 almonds, sliced
1/2 cup almond butter
4 tbsp maple syrup
6 dates, chopped
Steps:
Combine all ingredients, press down into a baking dish lined with parchment paper, bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Let cool. Cut and serve.
Notes:
This is a simple, nutritious and healthy breakfast. You can alter the proportions of the sweetener. Also, you cam make a no-bake version of this by shaping the ingredients into a ball and refrigerating it.
